General pest control covers the pests most Sri Lankan properties meet at some point: ants, cockroaches, spiders, flies and the occasional silverfish or centipede. We start with an inspection of the kitchen, bathrooms, drains and the perimeter, because that is where these pests live and breed.
Treatment combines residual spraying along skirtings and entry points, gel bait in kitchen and pantry areas, and dusting of roof voids and service ducts where needed. We use products registered for use in occupied buildings, and we tell you before we start which rooms to keep clear and for how long.
Most homes need one treatment every three to four months to stay clear. Businesses on a scheduled programme get a service report after each visit, recording what was treated, what was used and what we recommend you fix.

A typical home treatment takes 45 to 90 minutes. Treated rooms can be used again once surfaces are dry, usually within an hour.
Common questions
How often should a home be treated?
For most homes, once every three to four months keeps common pests under control. Homes backing onto vegetation, drains or open land may benefit from shorter intervals.
Do we need to leave the house during treatment?
No. We ask that children and pets stay out of treated rooms until sprayed surfaces are dry, which usually takes about an hour. Kitchen benches should be cleared before we arrive.
Is one visit enough?
One visit clears an active problem in most cases. Eggs and hidden harbourages can produce a second wave, which is why a follow-up check is included and scheduled programmes exist.
