Rodent Control

Trapping, baiting and proofing for rats and mice in homes, restaurants, warehouses and shops.

Rats and mice enter buildings for food, water and shelter, and they stay where all three are easy to find. Effective rodent control is therefore two jobs: removing the rodents already inside, and closing the routes they used to get in. We begin with an inspection for droppings, gnaw marks, grease rubs and burrows to establish where they are active.

Inside, we use traps and tamper-resistant bait stations placed along runways — never loose bait where children, pets or non-target animals can reach it. Outside, stations are fixed to the ground and checked on a schedule. For warehouses and food premises, we map every station on a site plan so your records show exactly what is where.

Removal without proofing is a temporary fix. We identify and report entry points — gaps under doors, unscreened drains, openings around pipes — and can seal the common ones as part of the visit.

What's covered

Inspection for activity signs, runways and entry points
Tamper-resistant bait stations and traps placed on runways
Site plan of station locations for commercial premises
Safe removal and disposal of trapped rodents
Proofing of common entry points (small gaps and door seals)
Scheduled station checks for contract customers

What to expect

Expect trapping to run for one to two weeks in an established infestation. Stations must not be moved between checks — rodents avoid objects that change position.

Common questions

Are bait stations safe around my dog?

The stations we use are tamper-resistant and fixed in place, and bait is secured inside them. Tell us where your pets spend time and we will position stations out of their reach as an extra precaution.

Why do I hear rats in the ceiling at night?

Rats are nocturnal and roof voids are a favoured nesting space, especially where overhanging branches touch the roof. We inspect the void, set traps on the runways and advise on trimming and proofing.

Can you rodent-proof my shop?

We seal small gaps, fit door brushes and screen drains as part of a visit. Larger building repairs — broken vents, damaged walls — we document and refer to a contractor.

Testimonials

What customers say

The technician found the termite trail in the garden before touching the house, treated the nest, and showed me the mud tubes to watch. Eight months on, the monitors are still clear.
Nimal P.Homeowner, Nugegoda
They moved our kitchen from monthly spraying to a baiting programme and the difference showed within a fortnight. The service reports after each visit are exactly what our auditor asks for.
