Bed bug treatment with rooms back in service the same week
A boutique hotel on the south coast
The situation
Guest complaints in two adjoining rooms pointed to bed bugs, with peak season starting in three weeks. The hotel needed the rooms treated, confirmed clear, and returned to inventory without public disruption — and a plan to stop the next case arriving with the next suitcase.
Our approach
We inspected the two flagged rooms plus the rooms on either side and above — six rooms in all — and treated the three showing activity with residual application to frames, skirtings and furniture, and steam to mattresses and soft furnishings. Rooms were treated in the morning and handed back after drying the same day. Housekeeping was trained in the two-minute seam check, and the second visit fourteen days later confirmed no new activity.
