The situation

A guest report of bites in one room, with two more rooms on the same floor to be ruled out. The room needed to return to service quickly, and the work had to be done without other guests noticing anything unusual.

Our approach

The reported room and the rooms either side and above were treated, because bed bugs travel short distances along pipe and wiring runs rather than across a building. Treatment covered bed frames, mattress seams, headboards, skirting and furniture joints. A second visit followed roughly fourteen days later — always, because the eggs are not reliably killed by the first application and a single visit means the problem returns within a month. Attendance was unmarked and scheduled around occupancy.
