The situation
Loading bays open through the working day, stock damage appearing in the lower racking, and droppings found during a stock count. Bait had been laid loose by the site team, which is both a safety problem around goods and a poor way to control a population that keeps arriving from outside.
Our approach
The loose bait was removed first. The building was walked for entry points — dock door gaps, service penetrations and a drain entry — and a proofing list was issued for the site team to seal, because baiting an unsealed building simply feeds a population that is replenished nightly. Tamper-resistant stations went in on a mapped grid, each logged and checked on a schedule, with the layout drawn up so anyone auditing the site can see what is where.
