Fly Control
Flying-insect control for kitchens, food premises, markets, farms and waste areas using traps and ULV treatment.
Flies are not just a nuisance — in food premises they are a contamination risk and an audit finding waiting to happen. Control starts with the breeding source: waste bins, drains, food residue and animal enclosures. Remove the source and the fly population falls on its own.
For the adults that remain, we combine UV fly-killing and glue-board units positioned to intercept flight paths, space spraying or ULV treatment in production areas at the right time of day, and insect-growth regulators where breeding cannot be removed.
Commercial kitchens and processors get a documented programme: unit placement plans, catch-count monitoring and a service report after each visit, so your pest records stand up to inspection.
What's covered
What to expect
UV units are installed by us and checked on each service visit. Catch counts are recorded so trends are visible before they become a problem.
Common questions
Do UV fly traps attract flies into the building?
Placed correctly, no. Units are positioned to intercept flies already inside and away from entrances, so the units draw insects out of the working area rather than pulling them in.
How often should fly control be serviced?
For food premises, every two to four weeks depending on the season and the catch record. We set the interval from the monitoring data and adjust it as the record changes.
Testimonials
What customers say
The technician found the termite trail in the garden before touching the house, treated the nest, and showed me the mud tubes to watch. Eight months on, the monitors are still clear.
They moved our kitchen from monthly spraying to a baiting programme and the difference showed within a fortnight. The service reports after each visit are exactly what our auditor asks for.
