Quarantine & Warehouse Fumigation
Sealed-space fumigation for containers, stored goods, warehouses and export consignments, with certificates.
Fumigation treats pests inside a sealed space — a shipping container, a silo, a stack of bagged goods under gas-proof sheeting, or a sealed warehouse. The fumigant gas reaches every part of the enclosed volume, including inside packaging and machinery where sprays and baits cannot reach.
Every fumigation starts with an assessment of the structure and the goods: the space must hold gas, the product must tolerate the treatment, and the site must allow a safety zone for the exposure period. We measure gas concentration during exposure and ventilate and test the space before declaring it clear for re-entry.
Fumigation is planned work, not an emergency treatment. Export consignments usually need a fumigation certificate with specific exposure times and concentrations, so tell us the destination country's requirements when you request a quote and we will schedule accordingly.
What's covered
What to expect
Exposure typically runs 24 to 72 hours depending on the commodity and target pest, followed by aeration. The space stays sealed and guarded until clearance testing is complete.
Common questions
What can be fumigated?
Shipping containers, bagged and bulk stored goods, machinery, timber, and sealed warehouse spaces. Food commodities are assessed product by product — tell us what you are shipping when you ask for a quote.
Do you issue a fumigation certificate for exports?
Yes. We record the fumigant, dosage, exposure period and clearance result on the certificate. Share the importing country's requirements with us before scheduling so the treatment matches them.
How long does container fumigation take?
Plan for the container to be out of service for two to four days: sealing and application, the exposure period, then aeration and clearance testing. We confirm the exact schedule with the quote.
Testimonials
What customers say
The technician found the termite trail in the garden before touching the house, treated the nest, and showed me the mud tubes to watch. Eight months on, the monitors are still clear.
They moved our kitchen from monthly spraying to a baiting programme and the difference showed within a fortnight. The service reports after each visit are exactly what our auditor asks for.
