Field Technician
Carry out pest treatments on scheduled routes: spraying, baiting, trapping and the written report at the end of each visit. Training on our methods and products is provided; what you bring is care, punctuality and a driving licence.

What the job involves
- Carry out treatments according to the written plan for each visit
- Assess properties on site and report findings accurately
- Record products used, areas treated and recommendations after every visit
- Explain precautions and follow-up arrangements to customers
- Maintain vehicle, equipment and product stocks in good order
What we are looking for
- Valid driving licence and confidence driving a van in Colombo traffic
- Ability to read and follow written treatment plans and safety instructions
- Willingness to work in roof voids, drains and outdoor conditions
- Polite, clear communication with homeowners and business staff
- Prior pest control experience is an advantage, not a requirement
How the hiring works
Send the form below and the office reads it within three working days. If the role looks like a fit you will be asked in for a conversation at Ja-Ela, half of it about the work itself and half about how you would handle a customer who is unhappy. There is no written test.
